The third element of the Hedderman Stanley project triangle is Costing. The ability to forecast and track budgets, frequently and repeatedly to within 1%, is a major asset to the success of any industrial project.

From inception to close out it is essential to know exactly what costs are committed, who has been paid, when they have been paid, the yet to buy, and any allowances for changes incurred throughout the project life cycle.
